Formerly known as our High Tea Event, our annual fundraiser supports both the Poway and North San Diego Club projects for the year. Our major project, Transitional Housing, is fully funded by the proceeds from this annual event. It takes $11,500 per apartment to provide transitional housing for women and their children fleeing a life of domestic violence. In addition, this event provides funds for continuing education programs for women who are head of household, foster teen girls who are high school graduates continuing on to higher education, victims of human trafficking, home caregiving for seniors and other programs empowering women and children.

 

Each year, members, supporters, friends, and guests wear festive hats and dress for fun at a beautiful local venue and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, silent auction, live auction, and guest speakers while sipping tea, champagne, and enjoying a delicious luncheon service.
